It was fantastic to send a team all the way to Sedbugh, Cumbria where we saw some solid running from the South Wales squad.
Briony Latter (MDC) had a great debut finishing in 54th in the women’s race.
On the men’s side, Rhys Goodrick (Vegan Runners) led the way finishing in 30th, David Lawson (Queen’s Park Athletics Club) 46th, Wilf Evans (CDF Runners) 59th and Matt O’ ‘Keefe (CDF Runners) in 63rd.
The men’s team finished 10th out of 20 regional teams, a fantastic result. Well done to all athletes on what was a highly competitive race today and representing the region so well.
